ENQT OKK
Our secure and standard-compliant ENQT OKK reads eHZ meters via the LMN interface (EN 62056-21) – galvanically isolated and extremely compatible thanks to extensive testing with many meter types. Its large opening angle compensates for positional deviations and makes installation quick and easy.
The ENQT OKK (optical communication head) enables optical data communication between modern electricity meters (eHZ) and reading or communication devices via the LMN interface in accordance with EN 62056-21. It ensures reliable, galvanically isolated data transmission and is therefore an essential element for secure and standard-compliant access to meter data in modern measurement systems. The ENQT OKK is characterised by a particularly high level of compatibility, which has been ensured by extensive testing with numerous meter models.
Thanks to its large optical opening angle, the communication head can be positioned flexibly and exhibits a high tolerance to positional deviations – which facilitates installation and minimises communication problems. The VDE-tested connection cable offers maximum electrical safety (6 kV), while the RJ12 plug with extended clip enables easy handling and a secure connection even in confined spaces. The ENQT OKK is available with different cable lengths, so that a suitable, pre-assembled version is available for every installation situation – for simple, quick and uncomplicated installation.

Quickly retrofit eHZ for SMGW communication:
Many existing systems use plug-in meters (eHZ) that do not have their own LMN socket. If these meters are to communicate with a smart meter gateway (SMGW), an optical communication head (OKK) is essential.
